We made these memories for ourselves.
(This is Part 2 of my 2 part post on my crazy March. You can find Part 1 HERE if you haven’t read it!)
At the end of the first day Sue stayed after so she could meet and take pictures with all of us. Who does that? It was extraordinary. Every single person that walked up to her received the warmest, most sincere hug and welcome. Her face literally lit up with everyone. Her business and personal teachings are so phenomenal, but the way she chooses to live her life is so much more inspirational. Being a truly good person is the way to live! Now don’t forget, there were about 180 of us! I don’t know how she does it. She gives so much to everyone and still is so incredibly kind and sincere to complete strangers.
I don’t know if you’ve ever met one of your idols but I was literally trembling! I put my arm around her shoulder for the picture and IMMEDIATELY removed it when I couldn’t stop shaking. Talk about smooth. I honestly don’t even remember what I said to her. I hope to god I at least said “thank you.”
See! Genuine smile.
Right after this one of the producers asked if I’d like to give a testimonial. Being me I responded before I even though about it. “Sure!” When he walked us back in to the room I was totally fine. BUT once I sat down on a “Sue Bryce set” I completely forgot how to speak. 😉 Here’s what I wish I had said:
“What would you say to someone thinking about joining the 12 weeks?”
Don’t think, just do. It might seem daunting to start but there is no rush. Take each week as you can and work through them all. This community that Sue and the mentors have created is so incredibly supportive that you’ll always have someone there to help.
“What was your favorite part of the 12 weeks?”
I realized during the “Men Shooting Glamour” session that I learn like a man. There have been times in this group that I’ve felt I might not belong, but only because I couldn’t relate to most of the emotional blocks everyone seems to have. When Kristina Houser’s video played it all came together for me. When she said, “I bargain like a man,” I knew I wasn’t the only female that thought like this. I know I’m super fortunate that I can separate business from emotions. Seeing her studio, her working relationship with her husband and her salon really solidified for me that I can do this. It makes everything I want to do actually attainable where I used to have some doubts.
Don’t get me wrong though, I’m SUPER emotional in my life. I’m empathetic too and really vibe of off others. I was the one handing out Kleenexes after all. I’m always prepared for tears! J
“What do you love about Sue Bryce?”
She is open, honest and caring. Sue gives us everything we need to make our lives and businesses successful. She doesn’t sugar coat anything, but you know everything she says comes from her beautiful heart. The energy she exudes is contagious and she gives so much. I started following her for my business not knowing what she’d actually do for me personally.
My roommate and new friend Ashley.
The Beautiful Christina during one of the live shoots.
And this ladies and gentlemen is Brian. He is one of THE kindest men I’ve ever met.
Final wrap up. Oh what a week!
It’s a bit cheesy to say this was life changing. But I LOVE CHEESE! Sue is a remarkable woman and I am so incredibly thankful that I was able to attend this workshop. I have my 3 year plan and I’m ready to get started. I’m coming for you Twin Ports.
