The Tarot Portrait Series is an idea I've been thinking about for years. The beauty of the different types of Tarot Cards has always intrigued me. Thousands of creators have taken their images, their ideas, their creative outlooks, and turned a classic divination ideal and into art. It's my turn now.

I am portrait photographer Ashley Lindsey, embarking on a project of photographing 12 of the 22 Major Arcana. I hope to dive deeper into what each card represents and means, honor each in its own unique way. But also, just have fun doing what I love - creatively photographing people in a new light!

WHY WOULD I WANT TO DO THIS?

There is something to say about being bold, and as a photographer my dream is to help everyone show it. Photographing individuals with different backgrounds, different points of view, different bodies, different ages (OVER 21) - being part of this series will be life-changing for you.

And don’t tell me “I’m not photogenic!” No one is. It’s not your job to be. It’s my job as your photographer to make you laugh, relax and be comfortable in front of my camera.
